Reza and Elise. Resort at the Mountain Wedding

Ever since their Mt Hood Forest engagement session we'd been counting down the days to see them again at their wedding. It was really so much more than we had expected! It was beautiful. Reza and Elise are so fortunate to have a wonderful family, they treated us so well that we felt like part of the family.

On this bright Summer day, Reza and Elise exchanged wedding vows at the lakeside pavilion, Resort at the Mountain in the small Mt Hood town of Welches Oregon surrounded by everything they love. Friends, family, nature, culture, but most importantly, each other.

Heres just a few of my favorite things. The Biologist side of Elise must have loved that her bouquet, made by a family friend had fresh picked herbs from the garden. It smelled like mint every time I walked passed her! Elise's makeup was beautifully done by one of my favorite vendors who we get to work with often, Briana. Elises's dress and her bridesmaids dress were purchased from Portlands Brides for a cause, and I love that she supported that. The only tears other than happy ones were in memory of her late grandmother who had bequeathed her wedding ring to Elise and now she was wearing it for the first time.

This was our first time attending an Arabic wedding and we absolutely loved the dancing. Our favorite part of the reception was by far their grand entrance. Reza and Elise were announced and came in dancing to Arabic music, they kept going until the end of the song, weaving their way around all the tables as their guests clapped and cheered them on!

Reza and Elise, the way you entered your reception and kept going until the music ended, THIS is the way to enter your marriage and keep going, and you will be cheered on!
