Alex & Candelaria's Skamania County Engagement Session

We had the exciting privilege of capturing Alex and Candelaria's surprise proposal in downtown Vancouver Wa at the end of December; and now here we are with these two love birds for their engagement session!  

Waking up well before dawn to drive out to Skamania County and get our hike on was well worth it to have this amazing location all to ourselves!  Panther Creek Falls did not disappoint!  We were surprised to see a light dusting of snow on the road as we got higher in elevation, and by the time we finished our session and hiked back to our car, the snow had melted.  

But the sun was shining and we were hungry so we had lunch at Backwoods Brewery in Carson and then crossed over the Bridge of the Gods into Cascade Locks, Oregon to get an ice cream cone at Eastwind Drive-In.  It was the most perfect Monday this February!

I am not exaggerating or being overly generous by saying that Alex is THE nicest man I have ever met, and after just a few phone calls and meetings I know for sure that Candelaria has found herself a wonderful spiritual partner to walk through life with, and Alex has found his other half!
