We are so excited to share Fransisco and Michelles wedding day with you. Not only because we really love this family but it's also our first time shooting at this particular venue that I've had my eyes on every time we drive past it on our way to adventure in Gifford Pinchot National Forest AKA Mt St Helens area. Heritage Park is an event and retreat center in rural Ariel Washington, which is just outside our small town of Woodland and 50 min North of Portland Or. This quiet and secluded venue with manicured lawns and beautiful towering trees make it a perfect location for outdoor weddings and gatherings.
Francisco and Michelle's day was in mid September, and I'd like to say it was the first true fall weekend of the year... It rained a lot of the day and truly poured buckets at one point. We weren't mad about it though, because after months of no rain in the PNW, it was well needed! We did find some pockets of beautiful weather throughout the day that we absolutely took advantage of. Francisco and Michelle shared their first look right outside the entry steps of the venue house. It really was a sweet moment to witness... as we've noticed with most long distance relationships the first look is even more special.
The rest of the day wasn't any less special for these two. We hope you enjoy every detail of this beautiful wedding and join me in sending our congratulations to the new couple!
