Fernando & Miriam's Seattle Maternity Session

"Maternity Photographer" These two make being pregnant look like a dream! Fernando and Miriam are expecting their first baby soon and we're so happy for them!

By just glancing at these images you'd never guess that we were in Seattle, the largest city in Washington State! But, those of you who have been to Seattle know that being located on Puget Sound, Seattle is surrounded by water, mountains, evergreen forests, as well as thousands of acres of parkland. So, for those who want the best of both worlds: city life and all the nature, it's a perfect place!

Seattle is about 2.5 hours away from us and we don't get out there as often as we'd like to (especially recently), so when our clients are local Seattleites, we usually rely on their recommendations for locations. Let me just say, Lincoln Park was ideal! The water on the Sound just calls to me! It's the perfect mix of grey and blue, especially on an overcast day. As you can probably imagine, I jumped right to the pictures with the water to edit first!

We just loved getting to know Fernando and Miriam. I love Miriam's demure smile and the way Fernando couldn't contain a smile every time they looked at each other. It's just wonderful that they're soaking up all these little moments and enjoying this season of life before the next exciting one begins!
