Gabe & Jolene had a beautiful wedding in Battle Ground Washington. It was our last Summer wedding this year and the portraits at Lewisville Park couldn't have been prettier. Under the shade of a row of weeping willow trees Gabe and Jolene shared their first look. We just loved the bright, romantic, glowy vibe that followed throughout the day.
Gabe and Jolene have known each other since they were young and Jolene always viewed Gabe as a little pest growing up, but somewhere along the line things began to change! These two love spending time together doing outdoor activities such as dirt bike riding, fishing, crabbing, camping, and boating... lots of boating! In fact, it was on a dirt bike riding trip in China Hut that Gabe pulled off the track and surprised Jolene with a marriage proposal! He planned it so that the whole family could ride up the hill and watch as he proposed.
Did you notice the miniature antler boutonniere worn by Gabe and his groomsmen? This was so original to Gabe and Jolene and a great way to incorporate their passion for the outdoors and hunting. This theme was also integrated in some of the decor elements of their reception; but what caught my eye as I entered the wedding venue was the arrangement of florals, and candles on the mantlepiece. What a gorgeous backdrop for a romantic ceremony!
The most exciting element that wowed Gabe and Jolene's guests must have been the Bread Bar! Not only was it perfectly decorated with the most delicious spreads but paired fabulously with their Italian inspired dinner - pasta! Shout out to all the family who made this wonderful dinner feast!
We hope you enjoy viewing our favorite highlights from Gabe and Jolene's special day!
