Serafin & Carolina's Castle Rock Barn Wedding

"The Barn 1502", "Amanda and Bryan Photography", "Wedding photographer", "Cowlitz County wedding photographer", "Castle Rock Wa wedding photographer", Castle Rock Wa barn wedding venue" Serafin & Carolina were married last month at The Barn 1502 in Castle Rock Washington. Located at the western base of Mount St. Helens, Castle Rock is at the heart of Washington timber country in the Pacific temperate rain forest. On a clear day you can see Mount St. Helens from Castle Rock's visitor center. From The Barn 1502 you can see Mount St. Helens and in the distance the top of Mount Rainier!

Amongst the trees on a pathway into the forest Serafin and Carolina shared their first look. It was a mixture of feelings and excitement. Serafin says that he hadn't previously imagined doing a first look but ended up loving it! After leaving the trees we headed to The Barn for the ceremony.

The Barn was exactly what Serafin and Carolina were looking for in a wedding venue - simple, beautiful, rustic, & cozy. Filled with their family and friends it was a warm and inviting occasion! Their outdoor ceremony included a Bible based talk, vows, and a ring exchange.

Some highlights of the reception included the dinner - Authentic Mexican Birria. Beautiful first dances with parents. A surprise entrance by a Mexican Banda. A sweets table filled with yummy mini deserts. A lovely golden hour view from The Barn which we definitely took advantage of with a quick set of sunset pictures! And dancing the night away!

So, what is their story? Serafin tells me that he saw Carolina walk by at a regional assembly and he just had to find a way to talk to her! After he got to know her, it was her beautiful qualities -specifically her kindness- that made him fall in love with her. Carolina was drawn to Serafin because of his faith and love of God, and because of how kind he is to his family. She says he is funny and says spontaneous things that make her laugh. These two make an effort to keep Jehovah God at the center of their lives, which has helped them overcome tough situations and will continue to help them navigate life and marriage for years to come! So whether it's camping in the woods and doing big things, or little things like sharing a meal together, we hope they keep their bond to each other and to God as strong as ever!
