Leo & Maribel's Fall Wedding

November 21, 2025

"Battle Ground Wa wedding", "Vancouver Wa wedding photographer" What an exciting day we get to relive! Leo and Maribel's Fall wedding was beautiful! Morning showers turned into a sunny late afternoon, just perfect timing for portraits under a gorgeous weeping willow tree.

Maribel tells us the story of how they met: "Leo and I met because of a mutual friend. We went out dancing one night and I asked him to dance he said yes... we got know each other a little. Then the following day there was a party that a friend of mine invited me to and he showed up, we danced and talked a little. At the end of the night a group of friends went to go eat and we ended up seeing each other there. Since we had mutual friends in common we would end up seeing each other when our friends would hangout and over time we ended up becoming friends. As time passed we got to know each other, saw good qualities in one another, realized we had feelings for one another and started dating."

Between movie nights, outdoor activities, discovering new hikes and dancing, Leo and Maribel fell in love. Leo proposed last Spring at the Adelman Peony Gardens during what she thought was a family outing, but turned out much sweeter than she could have imagined.

The moment they saw each other on their wedding day they were literally speechless, but full of excitement to be embarking on a new chapter of life together. The ceremony and reception took place in Battle Ground Washington at the Community Center with was beautifully decorated. The bridesmaids wore long silky emerald green dresses paired with cream heels to match the groomsmen suits. The groomsmen donned cowboy hats and boots.

Leo wore an emerald green suit with a burgundy tie and white shirt. He also wore a black cowboy hat to match his boots, belt and a watch the bride gifted to him hours before their wedding. Maribel wore a beaded bash white wedding dress with pearl heels to match her necklace and earrings. She also wore a diamond bracelet the groom gifted to her on the wedding day.

There are so many little details that make up a wedding day, it would be impossible to mention them all. What mainly speaks to us as wedding photographers are the happy faces and memorable moments that are hard to explain in words but speak volumes! It was hard to choose which photographs to spotlight on a post such as this one, but are confident the story of Leo and Maribel's wedding day is one for the books!
