It was an epic way to start off a new year.  The first day of 2018 was beautiful on Mount hood.  It was a little cloudy in Portland but as we climbed up the mountain and got above the clouds, we could see all the way to Mt Jefferson, and the rolling fog that stayed below us was breathtaking.   

Eric and Irma are just the cutest couple!  They have a fantastic proposal story, Eric actually proposed twice! (she said yes both times) I won't try to recount it here, its one of those things you just have to hear firsthand, trust me.

This was Irma's first time on Mt Hood, and we are so happy that we got to experience it with her because I don't think we could have come on a better day.  Now she will always remember this special place for the time she came to get her engagement pictures taken! 

We stayed and watched until the sun set behind the horizon, first the sky and then the clouds lit up and glowed orange and pink and so many other colors, and Eric held her close, and she smiled.
