Matt & Hannah Skamania Sunrise Engagement

We drove the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Byway on the Washington side. Clouds blanketed the sky, deep blue in color. The rising sun made its way to the horizon, its golden rays warmed up the clouds, the hills, the trees and eventually us. We watched as the sun put a spotlight on the popular Vista House across the gorge.

Our spotlight was on Matt and Hannah, celebrating their engagement to each other!

It was a spectacular morning! But it didn't stop there, we kept making our way down the byway until we arrived to the Franz Lake national wildlife refuge area and explored a little. Tucked away in the woods and hidden from plain sight, the Skamania Stone House was our last stop.

Matt and Hannah are just the sweetest! Their story begins in childhood. It's a classic case of falling in love with the girl next door. They showed us 20 year old pictures of them as children hanging out... the best of friends. And here they are again, best friends, ready to spend the rest of their lives together! We can't wait for their fall wedding!!
