St Johns Bridge Proposal

Guys, we're still on a buzz from this one!

Zuri came to us some weeks ago to let us in on his intention of proposing to his girlfriend Lupita, and to pick our brains for suggestions on how we could photograph the special event.  After coming up with a game plan, we all started putting things in motion...

I invite Lupita to respond to a model call so that Bryan could "try out" some new equipment, and I needed to "scope out" a photo location.  She accepts because her family all have "other plans" and she is free until her date with Zuri in the evening.  Things are all going according to plan!

 Bryan, Zuri and a handful of family and close friends arrive early to hide in waiting at the popular Cathedral Park under Portland's St Johns Bridge and they find out that timing couldn't be any better.  A wedding ceremony had just finished and a crew was arriving to set up for the next wedding. After Bryan explained what was about to happen, they are happy to wait a few minutes for us!

With the coast clear, Lupita and I arrive and we start taking a few "model shots".  She was genuinely surprised when right on queue, Zuri walked out from behind the pillar, and the rest is history!

Now that you all know what happened the behind the scenes, take a look at how it all played out.

She said yes, and we couldn't be happier for these two!!
