This is David and Johanna. They celebrated a beautiful wedding in Vancouver Washington. It was one of those crisp cold November mornings that ended in a rainy afternoon, but these two only had eyes for each other!

This is their story...

David and Johanna met at a party hosted by mutual friends. David asked Johanna to dance to a song. Some time later David found Johanna on social media and added her. David would send messages every once in a while making small talk. In late 2023 Johanna went on vacation to Mexico and started noticing that David’s messages were more constant which made her curious about David. In March 2024 he asked Johanna to hang out with mutual friends to get to know her. Even though he lived a little over two hours away he was always there. Johanna always appreciated David being a thoughtful and attentive gentleman. He made Johanna his priority and gained her parents respect and love.

David had originally planned to propose to Johanna in February 2025. However, he received an amazing job offer he couldn’t turn down—but there was a catch: it was in another state, Arizona. This would change the dynamics of their relationship. As the situation evolved, David decided to propose to Johanna earlier, as a symbol of hope and commitment to their future.
With his new job starting in September, David knew he had to act quickly. He enlisted the help of his best man, Tony, a mutual friend Lizmarie, and Johanna’s mom to pull off the proposal in just one month. They found a beautiful winery, and luckily, Tony knew the owner, which made it possible for David to reserve the venue for August 17th—the day he would propose. As we can all guess she said yes!!

Bryan and I loved capturing these memories from David and Johanna's wedding. We got to meet their friends and family, some of them traveled from northern Washington, others came all the way from Arizona and even Mexico to support them and share in this happy occasion!
