Gerardo & Ana's Oregon Waterfalls Engagement Session

This week we are featuring a beautiful late Fall engagement session on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge.

Gerardo and Ana drove up all the way from California just for this! Ana has a special love for waterfalls which takes her back to a sentimental connection to her late grandmother, add that to a combined appreciation for nature and the outdoors moved them to choose this location to celebrate their engagement!

Gerardo and Ana met through mutual friends in Los Angeles during the pandemic. Gerardo tells me: "Ana was in the process of moving to Bakersfield at the time but we were able to become friends even after the move. After about a year and a half of knowing each other I started to develop feelings towards Ana. At the time, we were both going through tough times personally and we were good listeners to each other so that helped us become closer. One day I decided to let her know how I felt so I sent her a text message which was not the plan since I wanted to tell her face to face. It was a nervous situation but we both agreed to give it a try and I officially asked her to be my girlfriend on December 27, 2023.

We got engaged the following September at a winery in Lancaster, CA. Ana loves wine and we had talked about going to winery together with her brother and his wife as a double date. Her brother and his wife along with her best friends and family, all helped with surprising her that day. They formed a path for her to walk through as they gave her tulips (her favorite flower) and she made her way up to me where I got on one knee."

"We're planning on getting married on May 25, 2025 in Bakersfield, CA with Jehovah's blessing in a beautiful garden venue.

Even though we are in a long distance relationship, we have great communication and we have a strong sense of connection and understanding towards each other. We're both really giving, this makes every moment that we get feel special."

What a loving connection these two share! Bryan and I are so happy to have met Gerardo and Ana and to have experienced this adventure with them! What a treat to capture this happy occasion! We wish them both a lifetime of happiness and adventure!!
